Guard admits distributing steroids

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former guard at the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia has admitted passing around steroids while working at the jail.

Michael Trautmann, 49, of Cheektowaga pleaded guilty on Thursday in federal court to distributing anabolic steroids. Trautmann will be sentenced in August and could face a maximum of ten years in federal prison.

Two other guards are facing the same charge.
