Gun found during brawl over basketball

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - At least six men were taken into custody following a high school basketball game at Canisius College.
Bishop Timon-St. Jude High School played Canisius High School at the Koessler Athletic Center Wednesday evening. After the game ended around 9 p.m., police say there was a disturbance outside in the parking lot and six men were arrested for disorderly conduct.
Buffalo Police searched a vehicle during the investigation and uncovered a loaded handgun. At this time, it isn't clear if one or all of the men were charged for criminal possession of a weapon.
The names of those arrested have not been released.
