BOSTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Erie County Sheriff’s responded to a disturbance report involving a 38-year-old man of Hamburg Sunday morning in the Town of Boston.
The vehicle of Frank Richards was found by sheriff’s where the disturbance allegedly occurred after which he left the scene.
It was reported that he had been drinking which lead to an investigation. It was determined that he was intoxicated where he was then placed into custody.
He was taken to the Erie County Sheriff’s North Collins substation where he provided a chemical breath test. His BAC showed to be .11%.
Seeing as this was not his first DWI, he was charged with Felony DWI as a result of his prior conviction in 2007.
He was additionally charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Richards was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in the Town of Boston Court on a later date.
