MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - An inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail is facing more charges after authorities say he smashed three sprinkler heads in a fire suppression system.
Deputies say Jedediah Shaw, 30, who was in the jail for a parole violation and fourth degree grand larceny, used a broom handle to smash the sprinkler heads last Thursday, causing around $450 in damage.
Shaw is now additional charged with third degree criminal mischief and second degree obstructing governmental administration.
