JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Jury selection begins Tuesday in the trial of a Jamestown man accused of abducting and sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
Police accuse 22-year-old Eric Chant of entering the victim's home last August while she slept, forcing her into a stolen van and taking her to a secluded area to rape her. Authorities say DNA links Chant to the sex crime.
Chant faces up to 25-years to life in prison if he's convicted.
