CASSADAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Sheriff's stopped a vehicle in Cassadaga around 2:30 am Sunday morning after they noticed its brake lights were out.
Following an investigation, they arrested the operator of the vehicle, 18-year old Anthony C. Santora of Bethlehem, CT for Driving While Ability Impaired from the combined use of alcohol and drugs.
Santora was charged with DWAI- Combo Drugs/Alcohol, Open Container in Vehicle, Insufficient Brake Lamps, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Underage Possession of Alcohol.
The passenger, 19-year-old Miguel A. Ortiz from Rochester was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Alcohol Under 21.
The two were taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets.
They are scheduled to appear in Stockton Town Court on a future date.
