BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Syracuse man who allegedly stabbed two security guards at the Boulevard Mall in November will be arraigned in court Monday.
The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says 25-year-old Dardrequez Haynes is accused of stabbing security guards who tried to stop him from stealing merchandise from Gap. Haynes is accused of fleeing, but was eventually apprehended by State Police one month later. He is also accused of repeatedly lying under oath during Grand Jury testimony.
Haynes is charged with first-degree robbery, two counts of second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, possession of burglar tools and three counts of first-degree perjury. If convicted, Haynes faces a maximum prison sentence of 32 yaers.
