RANDOLPH, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Randolph man was allegedly paid to take garbage to a landfill and instead dumped it on the side of the road. State Police say 25-year-old Corry Green is charged with illegal dumping.
Police say three mattresses, two recliners, a folding chair, glass and a garbage bag were on Dean School Road in Ellington. Police say an investigation revealed that Green was paid $50 to take the garbage to a landfill.
Police contacted Green who then turned himself in to police. He is due in Town of Ellington Court at a later date.
