BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Erie County Grand Jury indicted a Buffalo man Thursday morning, in connection to a double shooting in January. The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says 21-year-old Laquann Morgan, also known as ‘Q’ and ‘GQ’, is accused of shooting two males in a parked car at the corner of Dodge and Wohlers on January 8th, 2012.
A passenger in the car, 25-year-old Adrian Huggins, was shot multiple times in the head and body and later died on January 19th. The driver was shot twice and survived.
Morgan is charged with second-degree murder, second-degree attempted murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. If convicted, he could face a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.
