DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office has charged a Dunkirk man with welfare fraud for allegedly collecting over $4,500 he was not entitled to.
Samuel Cuyler was arrested Wednesday and charged with third degree welfare fraud, first degree offering a false instrument for filing, and misuse of SNAP/Food Stamps. Deputies say the 24-year-old failed to notify Social Services he was employed.
