ATTICA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Attica man is under arrest, accused of a robbery spree that stretched from Batavia to the Binghamton area. John Malowsky, 63, is wanted in connection with a robbery at a beauty supply store in Batavia earlier this month.
Authorities arrested him in Tioga County Wednesday night, where sheriff deputies say he robbed a CVS pharmacy in Owego. Malowsky is accused of waving a knife at sheriff’s deputies and leading them on a foot chase.
He is now in the hospital with two broken arms and stitches. Investigators believe Malowsky is also responsible for a robbery in Corning and Big Flatts.
