BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police say they stopped a driver Monday night on Route 33 for allegedly traveling 28 mph over the speed limit. Police say they stopped 43-year-old Deon L. Burnett, of Buffalo, at 9:40 p.m. for traveling 83 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Police say Burnett failed several field sobriety tests and was taken to State Police in Clarence, where a breath test revealed an alleged .08 percent BAC.
Police say they ticketed Burnett for speeding and DWI. He will appear in Buffalo Criminal Court later this month.
