COVINGTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Wyoming County man is accused of holding down a woman and choking her on Saturday.
State Police say 27-year-old Jeremy T. Preen was involved in an argument with a 34-year-old female that became physical. Police say he held her down and choked her during the domestic altercation at a home in Covington.
Preen was taken into custody and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, a misdemeanor. He was taken to Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. The victim was ordered an order of protection.
