JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Jamestown man is facing several charges, after an alleged domestic incident that lasted from Friday night until Saturday morning.
Jamestown Police say a incident was reported on Sunday, that allegedly happened on Van Buren Street. A 27-year-old woman says 33-year-old Michael DeMarco held her against her will, pushed her into walls, punched her and choked her, between 10 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
DeMarco is accused of causing physical injury to the victim while attempting to take property from the victim. He is also accused of keeping her from leaving.
DeMarco was charged with first-degree attempted robbery, second-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree strangulation and two counts of criminal obstruction of breathing.
