JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A southern tier man is locked up on $5,000 bail after allegedly violating a second court order.
State Police say Joseph Casel, 41, of Jamestown was instructed by the court not to contact a female victim. Troopers say after a Chautauqua County Family Court appearance, Casel called the woman, and as a result has been charged with felony first degree criminal contempt. He was taken into custody on Tuesday.
Casel is facing more serious charges because he was previously convicted in July 2012 of second degree criminal contempt. He is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail on $5,000 bail.
