Man arrested, allegedly stole gas can

NEW ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Cattaraugus County man was arrested over the weekend after deputies say he stole a gas can.

Authorities were called to New Albion Road in the Town of New Albion on Saturday around 7 p.m. on reports of a possible burglary. The homeowner discovered a gas can had been taken from the garage and deputies located and arrested 38-year-old Jamie Jimerson of Salamanca.

Jimerson is charged with third degree burglary and petit larceny. He was arraigned in Town of Otto Court and taken to Cattaraugus County Jail on $1,000 bail.
