BOSTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Before he could even finish walking to two businesses, one of which State Police say he planned on robbing, troopers arrested a 26-year-old man for attempted robbery.
On Thursday, Shawn Krawczyk was stopped while walking down Boston State Road towards the 7/11 and Evans National Bank. Police were acting on a tip that Krawczyk intended to rob one of the businesses. Troopers say they found a written note on him that demanded money.
While talking to Krawczyk, police say he admitted his intentions to rob on of the businesses, he just hadn't decided which one it was going to be yet. Police placed him under arrest.
After being arraigned, Krawczyk was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $50,000 bail.
