JAVA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Wyoming County man will spend ten years in prison for attempting to rape a 7-year-old girl.
On Thursday, Keith Flagg of Java was sentenced for first degree attempted rape. The judge ordered Flagg not to have contact with the victim for the next 28 years, and after serving his sentence, Flagg will have 10 years of post-release supervision.
Flagg had pleaded guilty in June to attempting to rape the girl in the summer of 2011.
