MAYVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Around 11:40 a.m. Saturday morning, a Jamestown man was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband in the 2nd degree.
Officers witnessed 27-year-old Morgan Paddock pass a baggy of tobacco to inmate Richard Neal, 28, of Mayville in the Chautauqua County Jail.
The two men were detained. Paddock was arraigned in the Town of Chautauqua Court and released; he will appear in court on a later date to face his charges.
Neal is also facing Promoting Prison Contraband charges and a detainer has been filed for him out of the Town of Chautauqua Court.
