CLARENCE, N.Y (WIVB) - A Clarence man was arrested Friday evening after State Police responded to Burglary in Progress complaint on Goodrich Rd. around 4:50p.m.
A caller told police he observed a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of the Clarence home where a recently deceased friend of his lived.
He said he was keeping an eye on the home, when he decided to enter the residence and found the suspect inside.
Justin D. Deho, 30, was apprehended in the home by the caller until police arrived.
Upon further investigation, it turns out Deho knew the resident recently passed away and attempted to rob the home.
He was arrested and transported to SP Clarence where he was processed and charged with burglary 2nd and possession of burglary tools.
Deho is schedule to appear back in court on January 15, 2013.
