BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police have arrested a suspect in a shooting on Tuesday that saw gunfire in two areas of the city.
Authorities say 30-year-old Odell Rainey of Buffalo was shot while driving a vehicle near Moselle and McKibben and that 24-year-old Mitchell Wilson of Buffalo was in another vehicle, blasting away. Rainey continued to drive and police say Wilson caught up to him 10 blocks away at Schuele and Scajaquada and again opened fire.
Wilson was arrested around 8:30 Wednesday morning. He has been charged with criminal possession of a loaded firearm, obstruction of governmental administration, reckless driving and other charges.
Rainey was shot in the arm and remains at ECMC.
