Laquann Morgan, 21, was already in police custody on unrelated charges when he was charged in the January 2012 shooting at the intersection of Dodge Street and Wohlers Avenue. Buffalo Police say Morgan opened fire on two men getting into a vehicle.
Demario Woodard, 26, was injured and drove to Buffalo General Hospital with his passenger, 25-year-old Adrian Huggins, Jr., who was also struck. Huggins was transferred to ECMC, where he died 11 days after the shooting.
