WELLSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Wellsville police arrested a man from Andover just before 2:30 Saturday morning on several charges.

Aaron M. Maier, 24, was charged with two counts of rape in the third degree, a class E felony, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of failure to register or verify address with the NYS Sex Offender Registry.

Maier was committed to the Alleghany County jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 property bond.

He is due back in Wellsville Village Court November 20 at 9 a.m.
