TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An arrest by Tonawanda Police solved two recent robberies.
Officers on patrol Monday morning found a person matching the description of a robbery suspect who had just hit the 7-Eleven at Elmwood and Sheridan around 1:50 a.m.
Patrick Bugman, 33, of Tonawanda was taken into custody and investigators connected him to the robbery of the Tim Horton's on Military Road last Friday at 12:35 a.m. Two retired police officers were in the store at the time and identified Bugman as the robber.
Bugman has been charged with two counts each of third degree robbery and third degree menacing. He is currently being held in the Erie County Holding Center.
