BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo man could spend the next 25 years in prison after being convicted of second degree attempted murder.

Fifty-six-year-old Pascual Cruz was convicted on Tuesday of that charge as well as first degree criminal use of a firearm. Prosecutors say on August 26, 2011, Cruz shot 39-year-old Dennis Reiber on South Park Avenue.

Cruz will be sentenced in August.
