RIPLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Ripley man was pulled over by police Saturday night just before 11p.m. for having a loud exhaust.
During the traffic stop, it was determined the vehicle 23-year-old Christopher Douglas was driving had an expired NYS inspection.
Douglas was also unable to provide valid proof of insurance to police.
After further investigation, a license check revealed that the his license had been suspended four times all on separate dates. None of them have been cleared.
Douglas was taken into custody and charged with: Loud Exhaust, Expired Inspection, Operating without Insurance and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd
He was later released with appearance tickets.
