BATAVIA, NY (WIVB) - A Batavia man has been charged with 340 counts related to sexual assaults against children.
Michael S. Lewis, 41 was indicted in Ontario County on Wednesday according to a report in the Batavia Daily News.
Lewis is accused of repeatedly assaulting two girls, 12 and 14. The abuse allegedly happened at a home in Bloomfield between April of 2010 and November of last year.
Lewis was first arrested in July and again in August as the investigation against him continued.
The sexual assaults were allegedly witnessed by two other children, leading to endangering the welfare of a child charges included in the indictment.
Lewis remains in Ontario County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail.
