AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - An Amherst man has been found guilty of forcing girls into prostitution.
A federal jury found 25-year-old Kenneth Graham guilty of sex trafficking of a minor and other charges. Prosecutors say Graham recruited girls under the age of 18 for prostitution, setting them up with paying customers at Cheektowaga and Amherst hotels.
Authorities began their investigation after being alerted by another hotel guest.
U.S. Attorney William Hochul said, "In the case of the hotel industry, frequent visits by multiple visitors, mostly male, and rooms being shared or used by very young girls, that could be a warning sign."
Graham faces 15-years to life in prison when he's sentenced in May.
