FREDONIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former UB student has pleaded guilty in an alcohol-fueled stunt that went horribly wrong.
Back in May 2010, then 20-year-old Joshua Benton was accused of pouring vodka on a can at a house near Fredonia State College and lighting it on fire. The flames burned 18-year-old Taylor Meckley so badly she was hospitalized for almost a month.
Benton was sentenced to probation in Chautauqua County Court on Monday.
