Man guilty of lying to federal agents

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Niagara Falls man could spend the next 20 years in prison for lying to federal agents.
Maurice Ubiles pleaded guilty to obstructing justice on Wednesday. The U.S. Attorney's Office says Ubiles gave false information to Niagara Falls Police and the DEA about a narcotics investigation. As a result, a person was arrested and charged in federal court, and those charges were later dismissed.
Ubiles will be sentenced in January of 2013.
