BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A man from Buffalo who admitted to terrorizing women last fall is headed to prison.
A judge sentenced Curlie Green, 27, to serve 15 years behind bars. He pleaded guilty in September to robbing and raping a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint while she waited at the bus stop last Halloween night.
Assistant DA Peter Marche said, "He forced her to lay on the ground and he raped her. And he left her there. And she thought she was going to die."
Defense attorney Michael Ingham countered, "He has some serious questions about how in the world he was ever convinced to enter a plea in the first place under extreme pressure."
Green also admitted to robbing three other women over a two week period last October.
The maximum sentence Green could have received was 25 years in prison.
