BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A hit-and-run accident in the City of Buffalo sent a man to the hospital early Saturday morning.

According to the Buffalo Police, it happened around 1:40 a.m. on East Amherst Street and Comstock Avenue. Witnesses tell investigators a dark colored SUV struck the man and sped away.

Police say the victim, thought to be in 50s, is in fair condition at ECMC.
