AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - John Pieri was in Amherst court Thursday for a probation hearing.
He was convicted of criminal solicitation in 2011. Two years earlier, police say he encouraged a driver to continue driving even after she hit and seriously injured two people in front of Daemen College.
Pieri was given three years probation for his crime. If he violated probation, he could spend a year in jail.
