LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Lancaster man will spend five years in jail for trying to get naked pictures of a girl he thought was 14-years-old.
Joseph Marranca, Jr. placed on ad on Craigslist that said he was "looking for a teenager." Marranca was contacted online, but what he didn't know is that the person he was speaking with was actually an undercover police officer. Authorities say after trying to get the "girl" to send him pictures, the 68-year-old made arrangements to meet the her in the park, and when he arrived, officers took him into custody.
Marranca was sentenced Friday to five years in jail and five years of supervised release.
