BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police have named the city's latest homicide victim, as well as a person of interest in the case.
They say 26-year-old Darryl McDavis, of Buffalo, was arguing with two men on East Ferry Street at Stevens Street around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot at close range. Police found his body on the doorstep of a building at the intersection.
They're looking to question Wyatt Hayes, of Stevens Street, known as "Chicago," who they say left the scene wearing a white undershirt, burgundy colored baseball cap, white and grey sneakers and shorts.
They say to call 911 if you know where he is, and you can also call or text the police confidential tipline at (716) 847-2255 with any information.
