DAYTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - As it seems to happen nearly every summer, a western New Yorker has been arrested for DWI while driving a garden tractor.
Just before 10 p.m. this past Saturday, Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies were called to Rt. 322 in the Town of Dayton for a report of a garden tractor driving down the road. When deputies arrived, they stopped 62-year-old Robert Scott of South Dayton and placed him under arrest for felony DWI.
Scott was also charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and having no tail lights. He will appear in court at a later date.
