MIDDLEBURY, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 21-year-old man has been charged with DWI after State Police say he fell asleep behind the wheel in a stranger's driveway.
On Saturday, troopers were called to Webster Road in the Town of Middlebury on reports of a suspicious vehicle in a private driveway. Police say Christopher Prucha of Pavilion was intoxicated and fell asleep in his vehicle after pulling into the driveway. At the barracks, State Police say Prucha's BAC tested at .16 percent, twice the legal limit.
He will appear in court at a later date to answer DWI charges.
