SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Two people were arrested on Wednesday after a Springville resident reported her prescription medication was missing.

Erie County Sheriff's deputies were called to the victim's home, where she reported her medication was missing and was taken by 21-year-old Ryan Drumstra of East Concord.

Deputies went to Dumstra's home and while looking in the area, found him in a car driven by 23-year-old Linsey Black of Springville.

After pulling her over, deputies placed both under arrest. Authorities say Drumstra was indeed in possession of prescription medication believed to be the victim's. He was charged with second degree burglary, two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth degree grand larceny, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and two violations of the public health law.

Deputies say Black also had drugs on her and was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and several vehicle and traffic violations.

Both were taken to the Erie County Holding Center.
