SANBORN, N.Y. (WIVB) - State Police have arrested 27-year-old Nicholas E. Patterson of Sanborn for robbing a CVS Pharmacy in his hometown Friday night.
The suspect was located today at his residence and attempted to take off on foot into a wooded area. He was taken into custody without incident and was found to be in possession of several controlled substances.
The suspect came into the store around 8 p.m. Friday night and demanded prescription drugs from the pharmacy. He was wearing a black ski mask and claimed to have a gun.
Patterson is being charged with Robbery in the first degree, a class B felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree, and Resisting Arrest, class A misdemeanors.
Patterson will be arraigned at a later date.
