CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A trusted coach and owner of a hockey  rink in West Seneca has been arrested on charges he sent text message to a 16-year-old boy, asking for sexual favors.

Randall Kosinski, 49, was arrested and arraigned Friday. Cheektowaga Police say they have been investigating Kosinski since December.

Capt. James Speyer said, "It's very, very disturbing. There were all kinds of messages. [The boy] was uncomfortable receiving those messages. As a young man, he knew it was wrong to be receiving those."

Kosinki owns the American Indoor Street Hockey Arena in West Seneca. Capt. Speyer says Kosinski had direct contact with the boy, who played there as part of a league.

"He was at the hockey rink with this young man...in the locker rooms as the advisor, coach or manager of the facility," Capt. Speyer said.

Police say the phone calls and text messages were sent to the boy over a six-month period. Authorities believe this 16-year-old may not be Kosinski's only victim.

Kosinski pleaded not guilty to endangering the welfare of a child and aggravated harassment in Cheektowaga Town Court. We reached out to him for comment, but were direct to his attorney, Barry Covert, who said Kosinski "is an outstanding businessman and member of the community with no criminal history."

Covert said they'll address the charges in court and would not speak to Kosinski's future at the arena.
