BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo man is headed behind bars after being convicted of drug charges, stemming from a September, 2011 incident.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 29-year-old Kasen Shamar Turner agreed to sell three ounces of cocaine base to an individual, at the direction of law enforcement. As Turner was en route to the drug deal, officers attempted to stop his vehicle. Turner then lead officers on a high-speed chase through Buffalo neighborhoods.
Turner was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and a violation of his supervised release. He was sentenced Tuesday to six years in prison and four years supervised release.
