TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A North Tonawanda man who broke into a pharmacy to steal pills will spend over five years in prison.
Timothy Lichtenburger, 30, was convicted in the burglary of the Rite Aid on Nash Road in the City of Tonawanda in May of 2011. Prosecutors say he then sold the pills he stole on the street before he was caught. In all, Lichtenburger stole over $26,000 worth of controlled prescription narcotics.
Lichtenburger was sentenced to 70 months in prison and was also ordered to pay restitution to Rite Aid.
