BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo Police say 40-year-old Ahmed J. Coon is dead after an early-morning shooting on Buffalo's east side.

Police say that Coon was shot just after 8 a.m. in the first block of Mohr Avenue, off of Broadway.

The victim has been transported to ECMC, where he died from his injuries.
