BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police are investigating to determine if a stabbing on Sycamore Street was an act of self-defense.
Buffalo Police responded to the scene in the 800 block around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday. Detectives say 53-year-old James Thomas was stabbed after he allegedly tried to rob another individual. Thomas is currently listed in stable condition at ECMC.
No charges have been filed at this time, and the investigation continues.
