AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Amherst Police are hoping surveillance video will help them catch a cigarette thief.

The video was shot earlier this month in a convenience store on Main Street. Investigators believe the man in the ball cap, jeans and moustache took over $1,500 worth of cigarettes while the clerk was helping other customers.
