OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) - Authorities on the southern tier locked up a North Carolina man after they say he stripped off his clothes in front of deputies.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office reports 29-year-old Parris Mobley was pulled over in Olean after midnight on Tuesday. When deputies asked him for a name, he refused to cooperate. Deputies then asked Mobley to step out of the vehicle, and when he did, deputies say he stripped down to his underwear.
Authorities say Mobley refused to cooperate and became verbally combative. He was placed under arrest and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration.
Deputies say they also discovered Mobley was wanted on two bench warrants out of the City of Jamestown. He was turned over to Jamestown Police.
