AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Amherst Police are looking for two people who walked out of a Transit Road store with over $1,500 in merchandise.
Authorities say the black man, described as 6'1" tall and around 180 pounds, and black woman, described as having a large build, filled their shopping carts on September 20 around 4 p.m. and left the store. Security personnel were able to recover the stolen merchandise when they chased the pair, but the couple escaped on foot.
If anyone recognizes the suspects seen in surveillance video, call detectives at 689-1364.
