BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Buffalo mother has admitted trying to hide items from authorities investigating her son.
Evelyn Roberson, 61, hid a check, money order, cash, credit/debit and bank cards in her clothing when agents executed a search warrant at her son's home. She had learned of the coming raid and took action to conceal her son's activities.
Prosecutors say for pleading guilty to obstruction to justice, a federal judge could sentence Roberson to a maximum of 20 years in prison.
The investigation involving her son remains ongoing.
