Narcotics Squad find drugs in home

ALDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Narcotics Squad executed a search warrant at home on Chestnut Street in the Village of Alden just after noon on Friday.

Following the search, a quantity of marijuana and cocaine were found in the residence along with scales and other drug paraphernalia.

30-year-old Donald L. Cordova, 21-year-old Rande Fisher, a 15 year-old juvenile, and a 17-year-old male were all arrested in the home.

Cordova was watching the officers on a surveillance camera he had at the front door. He attempted to flush marijuana down the toilet but was stopped by detectives.

The juvenile was released to his mother and was issued an appearance ticket to appear in family court. The 17-year-old male was taken to the Erie County Holding Center along with Cordova and Fisher to await arraignment in the Village of Alden Court.

Cordova and Fisher were charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Criminal Possession of Marijuana and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
