ELBA, N.Y. (WIVB) - An alert neighbor spotted two burglars coming out of a house on Weatherwax Road in Elba on Thursday and called the cops.
State Police and the Genesee County Sheriff's Office responded and converged on the two suspects at South Pearl and Townline Road in Oakfield. 25-year-old Steven Mullen of Oakfield and 31-year-old Robert Propst of Batavia were both placed under arrest.
Both men were charged with third degree burglary. Mullen was taken to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Propst was held for county court.
